Jay Pipaliya
Founder & CEO
Jay Pipaliya is the Founder and CEO of JK Tech Hub, a Rajkot-based software development company he started in 2018 with the simple belief that small and mid-sized Indian businesses deserve the same quality of software that Mumbai and Bangalore agencies sell at three times the price. Over the last eight years he has personally led the design, scoping or delivery of more than 150 software projects for over 120 clients — covering manufacturing ERPs for jewellery and railing exporters, mobile apps used by hundreds of retail stores across Gujarat, attendance and payroll systems that replaced manual registers in factories, and SEO-led marketing websites that today drive the bulk of new enquiries for several BSE-listed manufacturers. Before founding the company, Jay spent his early career working with a small group of developers in Rajkot building outsourced web projects, where he saw first-hand how often clients in Tier-2 cities were either over-charged by metro agencies or under-served by freelancers who disappeared after delivery. JK Tech Hub was his answer to that gap: a small, senior, accountable team that delivers metro-grade work at Rajkot rates, gives source code to clients, and stays around for the messy first three months after launch. Today he splits his time between sales conversations with founders and factory owners, hands-on architecture reviews on the team's harder projects, SEO and content strategy for both the company's own website and client portfolios, and mentoring younger developers who join the team. His written work on software cost guides, SEO for Indian manufacturers, and the realities of Tier-2 city outsourcing is read across the company blog and reposted regularly by the developer community in Gujarat. He is a frequent panelist at local business forums in Rajkot on topics around digital transformation, software pricing, and how export-focused SMEs can win on Google and AI search. Jay is based in Rajkot, holds a degree in Computer Engineering, and is publicly identifiable on Wikidata (Q138849705), LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter). He prefers founder-to-founder calls over sales decks, writes most of the company's case studies himself, and can usually tell within ten minutes of a discovery call whether JK Tech Hub is the right fit for a given project — and is unusually comfortable saying when it is not.
