What a real estate CRM must do that a generic CRM cannot
A generic sales CRM tracks companies, contacts and deals. Real estate sells units. The system has to know which units exist, which are held, which are booked and at what price, and it has to connect a buyer's journey from the first portal enquiry through site visit, negotiation, booking and payment milestones. It also has to handle brokers and channel partners, who bring a large share of bookings and expect accurate attribution and timely brokerage.
Speed matters more here than in most industries. Portal leads are shared with several brokers at once; the first call wins. A CRM that captures the lead automatically and assigns it in seconds is not a convenience, it is the difference between a site visit and a lost buyer.
