A point-of-sale system is the software at the counter that bills the customer, takes the payment and records the sale. In India it also has to be the GST record, the stock ledger and, for many owners, the only daily report they read. The four jobs it must do well are speed at the counter, correct tax on every line, one stock figure that every counter and outlet updates, and reports the owner can act on the same evening.

Most billing problems we see in Rajkot and across Gujarat are not software bugs. They are gaps between how the shop works and how the software assumes it works: loose items sold by weight, mixed GST rates on one bill, credit customers who pay weekly, and counters that must keep working when the internet drops. A POS built for your counter starts from those realities instead of forcing you to change them.

A hosted billing subscription is the right choice for a single counter with standard products, no credit customers and no plans to add outlets. The monthly fee is small, setup is quick, and you accept the vendor's workflow as it is.

A custom-built POS pays for itself when any of these are true: you run more than one outlet or plan to, you sell by weight or in local units, a meaningful share of sales is on credit, you need your own loyalty or WhatsApp flows, you want the software to talk to your accounting or ERP system, or you simply do not want your sales history on someone else's server with a fee attached to every counter forever. We start at your counter, not in a meeting room. One visit (or a video walk-through for shops outside Gujarat) shows us the products, the peak-hour flow, the printer and scanner you already own, and how returns and credit are handled today. From that we write a fixed-scope quote with a delivery date.

The build ships in stages: counter billing and GST first so you can start using it within weeks, then inventory, then multi-outlet and loyalty. Your existing product list and opening stock are imported from Excel or your current software. Training happens on your counter with your staff, and we stay on call through the first month of billing.

You receive the source code, the database, and documentation. Hosting is either your own server or a cloud account in your name; the monthly cost is the hosting bill, not a per-counter fee.
